by one motor and have a belt that runs between the two fans so that the
second fan (the one right in front of the motor) has no motor for
clearancing reasons.  I am pretty sure that the motor that comes with this
setup is already a 2 speed.  That is one of my next upgrades!!!

Guys & Gals,
Look at my webpage.  I got a dual fan unit out of a 16V Passat and it fit in 
my car perfectly.  NO modifications and yes it is 2speed.  Its plug & play.
