I would like to hear some first-hand accounts of these
horror stories - I am looking at an early-90s Passat or two
for a friend tomorrow. I bought mine with a bad tranny
figuring it as a parts car, but it turned out to be a
pretty simple fix.
Bottom line, what happens to these transmissions that makes
them go bad?
