Actually, the gel cell from Intrestate IS an Optima.  It just comes with
a better (36mo.) free replacement warranty than Optima offered. (18mo) 
Optima's only "major" distributor, (in the S.E. US atleast) prior to
Interstate, was Big A Auto Parts.  List price for most places is $139.00
+ core while they pay about $100.00 for the battery.
