RE: how to improve gas mileage
I tend to drive with my right foot on the accellerator. Though I am
flexable, I could not drive like you do....

Subject: Re: how to improve gas mileage
Ever get 20mpg with a Scirocco? I have! How about 35? done that too! The
most drastic change is always going to be the driver's foot!!! Other than
that, effeciency. Clean plugs, correct timing, and a properly tuned fuel
system are the most effective ways to save on gas. (although new plugs for
a
V-8 won't pay for themselves). If you are building an engine, you have a
choice of cams. Those cars that have a rough blub-blub-blub idle have
prostreet/race cams that suck (litteraly) for gas milage. There is your
chance to save big $.
But still, the best advice is to keep that left foot high off the
floorboards!
