I want to change the transaxle on the Gti to one with out a short ratio gear
set. What is the ratio on an '85 Jetta? I love the get up and go, but
running the car over long distance is hard on the engine as in 5th gear it
runs at 3500 rpm at 65. After 9 years with a Rocco, it makes me want to
shift gear, but I can't go higher!
