awesome! so i'm not the only one :)
i've just come to expect this. i get a lot of loss. i actually am
missing one of my valve cover bolts, so when i really get on it, the smell
of oil dropping onto a super-hot header fills the car. the first couple of
times it happened, i was scared as shit, but now it's like, i dunno,
refreshing...

shannon, is your head decked? mine is, and i'm constantly beating the
snot out of it, so i sorta expect it. what the hell, a little oil
consumption ain't so bad. sure, it costs money, but i just pretend it's
real expensive gas or something.
however, you are making me wonder if i should tear the head off and
replace the head gasket. i probably should, just to inspect the gear
underneath...
