YESSSS!!!!!
Ha! That's right folks, we did something right. We ended up tweaking the
mixture screw in (it was all the way out when we started) til we got it
running. That was all. I was worried that some other gremlin would get us,
but I think we're well on our way. It's not running perfect (it won't idle,
we quit when it ran half-ass).
The flywheel IS on 33 degrees off. Looks like you can put it on wrong.
FYI, there ARE marks on the crank pulley. You just have to find them.
Oil pressure. The idiot light has been half flickering/blinking during all
trials. It shut off during one run, and then later came back on with a
buzzer and blinking hardcore bright. No tapping noises, but I'm still
concerned.
I have three sending units plugged into my oil filter area. Two in the
upper area are plugged in (BLU/BLK wire low press idiot light and YEL wire
high press idiot light) but the lower one has no wire in it. Can anyone
tell me what this one is for? I want to be able to check the oil pressure
before I start running it hard.
Thanks everyone for putting up with my barrage of questions for the past two
weeks, and thanks to everyone who attempted to diagnose my problem. I'm not
done yet, so bear with me :)
