RE: One-person brake bleeding

From: "Antaki" <wrack@home.com>

May I humbly suggest the Motive Power Bleeder,
http://www.motiveproducts.com/

I bought one ($40), and it works so well, and is so easy to use, that I have
considered using it to bleed my brakes when I'm bored, just for fun.

I've used it on my Scirocco, Golf, and Vanagon (including the clutch
system). Friends have borrowed it.

It Just Works Great! I have no affiliation with Motive; just got lucky and
saw one in a store.

Yes!!!!! Bingo!!!! I bought one of these also, and I love it! I just used
it yesterday to bleed the brakes on the FSP car and it is cake. It will
make bleeding your brakes fun. You just connect the bottle to the brake
reservoir, add fluid, pump up the tank to 10psi or so and open each bleed
valve until the fluid flows clear. I can't wait to change all my brake
fluid now! Alex Ting has recommended the speed bleeders, and I'm sure they
work just fine, but you have to remove all your bleeders and replace them.
I've got three cars and putting new bleeders on all of them is too much
effort. The Volvo has two bleeders on each front caliper too! Anyhow, just
wanted to recommend the Motive bleeder. I think it's $40 well spent!
