This is an untrue statement. They are rebuildable you just cant get the 
parts from any dealer in the US. The seals that the dealer sells for the 
dist are junk so it would be best to call a seal manufacturer and see if 
they have a spring loaded seal with the same dimensions. Chances are they 
will.
