Re: Quieter Muffler
I recently changed my muffler from a Dynomax 3" straight through race
muffler. It was a nice muffler, but just WAY to loud (more like an
amplifier). I swapped to a Dynomax super turbo. I believe it is a 2 1/4"
inlet and 2 1/2" outlet with some actual muffling stuff in between. It now
sounds much quieter and still has the deep tone I liked with the Race
muffler. Plus, it looks more stock and less like a honda tip (although mine
was ACTUAL size of 3"). I think it was an 18" round with the inlet and
outlets offset. Worked great and is perfectly centered in my exhaust cutout
in the body. HTH!!
