Casey,
This happens on my car all the time and I really
can't do anything about it. I have a 77 Rabbit 2.0L 16v so since the car
didn't come with an in tank pump, it does it all the time (well, atleast when I
hit sharp curves and high rates of speed, SAFELY!!). I guess I could wire
one up since I have a pump and the harness that I installed from the 16v has the
wires going to the tank for the pump, but maybe another day. YOUR
situation is pretty simple. As long as your car came with an in tank pump,
this is a pretty for sure sign that it is not working. Another solution is
a newer baffled tank (if they make them, or if yours isn't already) or a fuel
cell!!!! Would make a great excuse!!
