How about applying some Dynamat? Even considering its cost, its probably
cheaper than a factory replacement.

I took my insulation off as it was soaked with oil from a long-term oil
leak and was just a mess. I was thinking that the sound-deadening it
provides would be handy, so...
What would people suggest for replacing this stuff? Can I buy pieces of it
and cut to shape?
