UK Euro Lights..no problem
Well my almost brand
new UK Euros came in yesterday and having the wiring already done I smacked them
into the car hoping for the best. I was not disappointed. There is no visable
difference in beam pattern, let me repeat that, no difference i could tell in
the car or from a oncoming traffic point of view. I even parked below my 2nd
story balcony and looking down on the pattern it was right on, although aimed a
little high, but that is adjustable. The pattern is square the flat....straight
out equal distances near as I can tell. Certainly not enough difference to
justify 280 bucks more than what I paid. There is one thing you do have to
modify, on the drivers side lense bracket near as I can tell the the German
versions have a upper left adjustment screw where these just have a non
adjusable peg. A light whack with a screwdriver and hammer corrects a very
definate skew to the right. Maybe this is why people couldnt get them to work.
Also not having a
dremel I found a really fast and easy way to trim the trim pieces on the
american bumper....propane torch! A couple passes with it over the rubber and a
knife and I was done with the whole install in less the 15mins. Cost is as
follows
Full light, bracket
and euro signal setup with stock bulbs $40.00
90/100 and 100W
bulbs $40.00
Wiring
stuff $40.00
Thank you for your time.
