I know what you mean.  Many moons ago when I was driving down to college
and I hooked up with two other Mk. II's in the mountains near Virginia
Tech.  We raced each other up the truck lanes (at one point 3 abreast!)
and convoyed the rest of the way to school.  I loved it!
