I have had my Rabbit (RIP) up to 130.

On the last 'Rocco cruise up here I had the speedo needle pointing straight 
down (100 MPH speedo) and it was still pulling. For some strange reason I 
decided to slow down and as soon as I did 2 staters drove by on the opposite 
side of the freeway (radar detector tweaking out). Glad that I slowed down 
:)
