Depends on how you treat the car. You can blow up anything if you mistreat it or drive it the wrong way.

Power don't kill gearboxes. I have had around 170hp with a torque top at 5500rpms for more than 4 years, no problem. When I changed motor too a motor at the moment 150-160hp but torque top at 3000rpms it took less than two months too kill an 020 box.

Now I replaced it with a 02A cable shifter and things seems too work good.
