I bet the choker (a.k.a. boat anchor) manifold is louder than a header 
anyway!  
Mechanics have told me that, If I got a header, I should expect it to rust 
through a good deal quicker than a manifold/downpipe.  Also, I have heard 
concerns over the flange conections vibrating bolts loose.
