16V head repair/replace options

What are my options for a 16V head re-do?  I re-did the bottom of my engine 
last summer, and this summer I want to do the head.  I have two 1.8 16V 
heads, both have lots and lots of miles.  I'm planning on more slightly 
aggressive cams while I'm at it.

The cams are easy, the rest I'm not sure about.  What am I going to want to 
buy? Valves? Followers/lifters?

I was considering an off the shelf rebuilt one, but have heard mixed reviews.
