Re: cis computer checking
Actually CIS-E Motronic spits out error codes.
It displays a code that points to the defective circuit or part.
CIS is mostly a mechanical system though, especially '80 and earlier they
do not have an O2 sensor or electronic ignition. I think some '80
Sciroccos had electronic ignition and it was a changeover year.
