I'm looking for an Audi 3A short engine. The nearest breakers yard has 2, one for Ł295+VAT (rebuilt from fire-damaged car, not interested), the other for Ł395+VAT with 80k miles on it.

These prices seem high to me for a short engine. What is the going rate and can anyone recommend a source?
