The #1 suggestion is to ditch the 1.8 block and go 2.0 - it's probably
the most significant upgrade you can do to a 16V.  It's hard to wring
significant power out of a 1.8, but the 2.0 works quite nicely, even
in stock form it's a significant upgrade.
