Sounds like one of two things:
1.Leaky fuel injector is allowing pressurized fuel to bleed into one (or
more) cylinder so that it is extremely rich upon subsequent startup. Have
someone else fire your car up and see if the black smoke smells like gas
2. Valve seals are going and allowing oil to slip into the combustion
chamber. This would take a while and wouldn't consume much oil. Exhaust will
smell like oil instead of gas ; )
There are prolly some other things it could be as well, but those are the
two I'd investigate.
