No self respecting mechanic would ever suggest a Bing-rod replacement 
without the corresponding Kaneuter valve upgrade.  Along with the Bing-rod, 
I'd replace your mechanic!

BTW, is Pooka Stew synonymous with trouser chili?

What a coincidence...the mechanic told me the Bing-rod on mine went
last week!  I had him use a german-made replacement.  It costs more,
but I wanted the best.
