I think others have already guessed correctly that you're running
low on gear oil.  Now would be a good time to drain it and replace it
with some Redline MTL...that is, after you've made sure it's not already
leaking out some place.  Sniff around, literally. Transaxle fluid, is,
ah, fragrently stinky to say the least and there's no mistaking it's
stench for regular motor oil.  I think the stock viscosity is 75w-90
so top off with that for starters.

In all likelyhood, pretty close to zero with no exhaust work.  Open
up the exhaust with a 4-2 manifold and TT downpipe into a 2in
exhaust.  A header would probably help more, but probably not
last as long.

Yes, many people have put in a three gauge panel instead of the ashtray
and stock gauge.
