Ok, here is the deal, you can swap in the entire motor or just the bottom
end and keep your CIS-E, no problem. The general consensus is that the
best combo is the 1.8 head on the 2.0 bottom end. Now you can decide to
swap in Motronic if you WANT to, it is NOT needed. But some people on the
list feel it's better because it's chippable, etc. But your CIS-E will do
the job perfectly, especially if you add fuel enrichment device.
If your looking for ease, go the whole motor keeping your CIS-E, if your
looking for marginal performance gains out of the "ideal" solution, put
2.0 bottom end in, keep your 1.8 head and swap in the Motronic.
