I have a different opinion on why they are called scirocco radiators . 

The drag racers have discovered that the actual radiator from the scirocco is 
the hot set up (pardon the pun) . If you look at a Summit or Jegs catalog you 
will see many variants on this . I just checked mine and I even discovered an 
all aluminum model that looks really trick . They also have a cool dual fan 
set up that only weighs 6 lbs .
