Picked up a bunch of door hinge pins [$3 ea.] from Sunnyvale VW
Thursday. Priced the rumored low cost oil pans, they had them in stock
and they cost $25. In fact the parts guy said the pans cost less than
the gasket does. [!!!]

Must be true.
