<x-flowed>No, you can still recharge with R12.  It's more expensive than the other 
stuff per charge, BUT your system works better with R12 and it's probably a 
wash money wise to change the whole system to HC134a just to save money on 
recharges.  And when you use the A/C it should blow cold air out all vents, 
not just the center two.
