brakelight bulb question

ok, ever since I tinted my tailights, my brake lights have been
near impossible to see.  So I have been trying to find a bulb upgrade,
and after many hard hours of searching, I have found a place that
sells 35 watt bulbs.
Here's my question:
they warned that these bulbs may overheat my harness.
What's the possibility of that?
And how could I get around that?
