Everybody needs to get to know the Potterman.
Here ya go- <mailto:virtualworld@earthlink.net>
Send yer question to the link above and you can get ne in the mail in no
time. Price will be right, parts will be top notch, make sure you get
the pushout bearing and pushrod seal too. Low cost items that you should
consider replacing since your in there.
Go for it, it'll increase your karma too.
It's not hard to do your self, I did mine with a wife 7 months pregnant
and no experience, certainly no internet nor email list for support.
What you will need is a Bentley. You _do_ have one, right?
You will need to drop the trans out to get at the clutch, will need to
support the engine while it's out, avoid placing the weight of said
engine on the top of the fenders themselves, want to replace the bolts
inside you take out, will want to buy a 12 point driver for the CV
joints (don't try the Hex thing, they strip), let me dwindle away with
this-
The five things I can think of that you should get access to that you
may not yet have are:
1. Jack stands.
2. 12 point (8 mm?) driver.
3. Impact wrench for clutch bolts.
4. 32 mm 1/2" socket and breaker bar, for front axle nut.
5. Bentley manual.
