Replacing Fuse Box

<x-charset iso-8859-1>I'm in the middle of replacing the fuse box on my '86 16v, but something's
got me stumped (maybe it's too much time in the hot Texas sun this
afternoon).  Affixed to the top of my existing rectangular fuse box are
three relay sockets.  They look like they should slot on and off, but I
can't get them off.  Is there a special trick for detaching them from the
main fuse box, or do I need to detach the wires from the back?
