Folks talked of cleaning out the valve, and a good idea it is too. 

BUT, I caution against using a cleaner that is not O2 sensor safe.

Don't use anything like WD-40 on the car were it will get sucked into
the inside of the engine, it will deteriorate the platinum in the O2.
