AGB Pinion wanted

Hello all!  My friend BU is rebuilding my original transmission from my 16V 
and it turns out that one of the rivits had gone & then ate the pinion.  
Sooo, anybody got one they don't need that's in good condition?  I don't have 
any spares left to pull from.   If we dont' find something, then it means we 
pull his tranny and he doesn't have a car for a day or two while its being 
rebuilt so its no biggy. TIA
