<x-charset iso-8859-1>Thanks to everyone who replied.  I finally decided for simplicity's sake to
forget about a headlight swap.  Instead I bought four new halogen sealed
beams and relayed them.  Very happy with the light output, and  I think the
upgrade cost a total of $30 including the new lamps.  If anyone's interested
in details let me know.
