<x-flowed>Yeah, yeah, i know. i was kinda mad at myself, too.  it's just that cops 
have been real pricks to family members.  my brother had an '89 or '91 
(can't remember) 16v GTI, really nice car, had just bought it a little while 
before this.  anyways, it was in winter and he was driving (within the speed 
limit:) ) and missed the exit and his car spun around and was facing the 
wrong direction off on the shoulder of the highway.  he was just sitting 
there and was going to drive to the exit when a car came up over the hill 
and hit him head on (he was off the road at the time).  Anyways, the cop at 
the scene said he was at fault and also fined him for driving the wrong 
direction on the highway (he wasn't even moving).  now THAT is a stupid cop. 
  oh, and when i said it wasn't like i was not like i was doing anything 
stupid, i meant that in the sense that i wasn't driving like a maniac...if i 
would have seen anyone nearby, i would have slowed down.
yeah, i'll remember to leave earlier:)  also the experiences i've had with 
cops have been mainly for loud exhaust and taillights and the such.  i had 
one cop pull me over for my exhaust on my jetta and i fixed it and took it 
to the station and they said it was fine, and yet i get pulled over again by 
a different cop...tried to fix it but it didn't get any better but took it 
to another cop and he said it was fine...i think that some cops just have 
too much time on their hands.
