rabbit euro bumpers on a Mk. II

I know I spoke to Paul a bit on this, but does anyone know if the Rabbit
euro bumpers can be installed on the front and rear of an '82 Scirocco? 
I imagine the covers will need some creative trimming and all.  I just
keep seeing the rabbit bumpers for *so* much less than the Scirocco ones.
 Any thoughts?
