Hatch rubber stripping

I found the leak!! I took out all seats and carpeting...wow that was 
fun...anyways, it is leaking through the rubber weather stripping that goes 
around the hatch...How do I fix this...the stripping doesn't look TOO 
bad...But, I think it had little to no adhesive sealing it to the metal 
around the hatch...I do I cure this?
