Had it, been there. Three things I can think of: 1) the cable, probably
unlikely 2) the amplifier is bad/corrosion 3) the power lead for the amp is
not hooked up. Everyone gave me advice and I was expecting to have to
either replace it or bypass the amp. Checked the power lead for the amp
first as it's the easiest. Considering I'd never had a Fuba and the prior
owner didn't hook the lead up, I had no idea it was there. Found it,
connected it to the power antenna wire, Holy Sh*t I have radio reception.
If the problem is in the amp itself, here's a link explaining how to bypass
it http://www.corrado-club.com/corrado/default.asp go to Garage Tips and
scroll down a little and you'll see it. Unfortunately the headliner has to
be removed or pulled down in the rear somehow. Or do like Rick Pizzulo and
cut a small hole in the headliner to access the nut. You'd never know it
was there if he didn't tell ya. HTH
