Re: BIG water problem!!



<x-flowed>This might not apply to the post '83 owners out there but living in seattle 
and having a bad spell of rain here (like it doesnt stop). I have had a lot 
of customers asking me about their water leaks and upon serious 
investigation I have found that the 2 mk1's that i looked at had play in the 
wiper pivot and rotted grommets to the body and there was an obvious trail 
of rust from the area directly below the monowiper and onto the fan and 
obviously into the center of the car making tracing of leaks difficult. HTH
