<x-flowed>As someone stated VHT makes Tint in a can I get it from one of my suppliers. 
But some hobby stores do have transparent paints. I used a red transparent 
paint to make all my gauges and interior lights red and I didn't paint the 
bulbs, I used thin plastic. Was lots of fun too. But it looks great!
