re-applying moulding

I know it's been hit before, but what is best to restick the side
moulding back on the roc.  I looked at some stuff today, but it looked
as though it would gap it out a couple of millimeters.  I want it flush
like it was before.

On another note...Back to Black is awesome, but is there some kind of
dye available for plastic trim that would work better?
