RE: NGK plugs do they need to be gapped?

loves those funky triple NGK things, and that my 8v car ran best on the
really cheap Bosch plugs! The NGK's for a 16v car are only about 3$ a piece,
and well worth it. With 10,000 on them they look close to brand new, even
though my car is eating coolant by the liter :)

Interesting that you say that about platinum plugs.  The guy at my VWFLAPS
said I would probably get about equal results with Bosch platinums or the
Bosch triple electrodes that I ended up buying.  So are you saying that the
Bosch triple electrode plugs were a good choice?  What are the Bosch
Silbers?  I'm not familiar with the name.
