While the Stage 2 kit may be no comparison against a Quaiffe locker, I find
it hard to believe that Honda's come from the factory with locked
differentials.
That is the _only_ way both tires will both spin.
Even the Quaiffe unit is a *limited* slip differential, meaning that it
lessens how often one wheel spins and the other doesn't, but does not
eliminate that behavior. Nor would you want it to.
Unless you have a dedicated drag race car, you want the tires to be able to
spin separately to allow the car to navigate turns without unduly torquing
(stressing) the drive axles or spider gear.
This difference in relative wheelspin is where the term 'differential'
derives its name. It is _supposed_ to work like that, even on Civics.
