One added thing. You can rule out any linkage problems simply by getting a 
good set of vice grips on the linkage next to the tranny and yanking. My 16V 
somtimes randomly gets stuck in gear (dont know why) but I just roll it 
backwards with the clutch in and it slips out when its rolling...not much 
help but all I can think of.
