Fw: 16V heads... (Seattle area shop does 16V P&P for $500)

<x-charset iso-8859-1>I found this on the r.a.m.v.w newsgroup and found it interesting for two
reasons: 1) a counterpoint to the "dude, you gotta get the 1.8 head" theory
and 2) there is actually a shop in the Seattle area that does porting and
polishing for a reasonable cost.

I talked to Steve at Progressive Automotive in Tacoma, WA, today and found
out they have a flow bench as well! If they flow bench test it and do a
good job, $500 is a great price for port & polish on a 16V head.
