Re: Mixture adjustment using dwell meter
Ok in the Bentley for CIS equipped car look at chapter 5 page 30. Basically
first you must have the car at operating temperature (+80deg cel oil temp). The
you hook up a dwell meter to the blue and whit wire around where you coil is.
put it on dwell and read what it says. You should see 23 to 59 (fluctuating)
And if you are going to set it aim for 45deg = plus or minus 7deg! To adjust it
you need a 3mm allan key to turn the set screw in the fuel distributor,
clockwise makes it richer (higher co%) and of course counter clockwise makes it
leaner......
