[2.0 16v]- Question on rebuilding

For my 2.0 16v project, when I am rebuilding it, I would like to know if 
anyone has specific tips. What kind of oil should i use at first?  When I am 
putting the engine back together, where do I lube it prior to putting oil 
into the engine? Etc.  If someone could give me some tips, I would be 
greatful.
