2 questions AC/rear springs

1st,  has anybody ever converted or known somone who has converted thier
R-12 over to 134a? How does it perform?  Did you do it yourself?  

2nd Is it possible, does anyplace sell rear performance springs
seprately of the fronts? Who?!
