I believe that Bosch Platinums come pre-gapped, thus the gap designation on
the end flap of the box. Gapping a plug is a controversial subject. In the
"old days", you had to gap a plug. Today many plugs are already gapped
correctly and do not need any further adjustment. If you do have to adjust
the gap, some people will say that this will weaken the ground electrode(due
to bending it) and that is not good. If you have to gap it, I believe the
correct gap is 0.028in (0.7mm).
