They are 17" TSW Revo wheels.  As they are made in South Africa, I am sure
he got a pretty good deal on them.

The 215's would get so chewed up on the fender lip that it wouldn't be
funny.  205/40-17 on a MK1 is a stretch ( I know, I have that setup on my
MK1).

The roads here in Edmonton, Canada suck worse than you can imagine, yet my
wheels are still round.  You just gotta know where to drive...

I think 17's rule on my Roc, and if I could squeeze them in I would have got
18's.
